The correct temperature setting range of the freezer is 0 to -4 degrees Fahrenheit for the production of ice so if it is on the right temperature setting it will not cause any problems.

4. Freezer door malfunctions:

Freezer doors are also a major issue sometimes due to either too much storage or due to a used gasket or rubber seal which may result in an opened door.

When you turn off the freezer all the ice will be melted and there will be small lumps of ice and water so take a bucket and clean the ice from the freezer and collect all the ice in the bucket. 

Now take a cloth and clean the water. A cloth that can absorb all the water. Now let the cloth dry and do another swipe to clean the water. If the ice gets stuck on the freezer walls and you can’t make it come out then there is a tool given to you like a spatula. Use it to free the stuck ice.

1. First of all, locate the on/off button and do see it, it should be turned on.

2. Look at the undersurface of the freezer and look for a test/fill button.

3. When you find it, press and hold the button until the ice maker starts a new cycle.

4. When it runs through the cycle again it will start filling up the water and the freezing of ice will start again.

5. But, if it didn’t start the cycle, remove the freezer bin that you put in and try turning off the icemaker for 30 seconds. After that, turn it back on, then add the bin and press the cycle will start running again.

6. Now, you can use your glistened ice cubes and cold drinks to overcome the summer heat.
